COURSE

Our goal in 2010 is to have the original course ready. We would like to have a trail clearing party in September (likely Sunday 09/19 or Sunday 09/26). Please email us at RonHerzog50K@yahoo.com if you are interested in helping out on either of these days.

Planned “tanks” course: The “tanks” race course is a looped course which starts with a gradual 9 mile climb up a logging road, followed by 6.5 miles of Tank Trap exploration, 13 miles of gradual descent on fire road, and ending with a 2.5 mile stretch on pavement to the finish.

Alternate “road” course: “The road” course is an out and back on the last half of the normal course. Yes, this means asphalt and forest service road.

AID

Tanks course: Full aid station at 1/2 way point (beyond the tank traps)

Road course: There will be a water-only self-serve aid station at mile ~8 & 24.  Same full aid station at 1/2 way point.

DROP BAGS OK! 

Drop bags will be driven to the 1/2 point aid station.
